Remixes of Le Tigre, Chemical Brothers, Gorillaz, Blues Explosion, Radio 4, Metro Area and more. The Vines - Vision Valley (Capitol)  Australian rock trio deliver their third album. Kinda garage-rock. Kinda punk-rawk. Aww screw it, theyre just a rock'n'roll band. Tuesday April 4th @ 8pm @ Landlocked Music  Irving - http://www.thebandirving.com/ Normanoak - http://www.normanoak.com/ Buffalino - http://www.myspace.com/buffalino Five songwriters in one band might be more than most could bear, but the innate pop sensibilities of the guys in Irving coherently shine through. Their 2002 debut album, Good Morning Beautiful, won hearts and critical acclaim, followed by an EP in 2003 and now this eclectic collection, Death In The Garden, Blood On The Flowers. Thirteen lustrous songs, swirling guitars, seductive keyboard hooks and layered vocals. Normanoak AKA Chris Barth AKA principle songwriter and frontman for local lovelies the Impossible Shapes. His faeries boots were made for hunting mushrooms, and thats just what they'll do. Buffalino is Peter King AKA one of the original core of the Impossible Shapes from yesteryear and a swell guy to boot.
